Branded Group leads by example with its community service and corporate altruism.
For Branded Group, social impact is a foundational value that guides the organization’s vision. Committing to #BeBetter and #BeAltruistic, the company aims to reflect these tenets in all that it does for its clients, community and facilities management industry colleagues.
“Our vision is to build a conscious business that inspires future humanitarian leaders,” said Mike Kurland, CEO of Branded Group.
Branded Group’s outreach has included support for The Priority Center CAST Toy Drive, Pinwheels for Hope, Wounded Warrior Project, Feeding America and an upcoming 5k in the fall. Targeting three key areas for community contribution, Branded Group’s initiatives are designed to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
“We focus our efforts on serving organizations that assist those in need by providing food and housing support, offering education or wellness opportunities to youth and creating or maintaining a sustainable environment,” Kurland said.
Branded Group’s relationship with ConnexFM has also helped to further its mission of social impact. Together with the ConnexFM IMPACT Committee, of which Sales Representative Michelle Jones is a member, Branded Group sponsored a lunch event at this year’s ConnexFM | 2022 National Conference in support of New Life Beginnings, a shelter for homeless women and children in Long Beach, California. At ConnexFM industry events, Branded Group has been able to lend support to local non-profit organizations through its in-booth social impact programs.
Additionally, Kurland appreciates the opportunities for industry networking and knowledge exchange that ConnexFM offers to his company. “The ConnexFM organization has been a valued partner through the years, and we are grateful for the many opportunities afforded to us that enable us to contribute to the growth of the industry,” he said.
Kurland was a guest speaker at the first ConnexFM Emerge Event Series, offering his insight on leadership during times of crisis. Other Branded Group employees also lend their efforts to ConnexFM initiatives. Client Development Manager Jenna Dominguez serves as the Co-Chair of the Young Professionals Committee, while IT Manager Michelle Gonzalez was recognized as an FM Champion in 2020.
“Branded Group is honored to be recognized by ConnexFM for our efforts to be effective in our communities,” Kurland said. And the organization doesn’t plan to slow down in pursuing its mission anytime soon. “We will continue to develop creative ways to give back to those in need and strive to make their lives better.”
